Dr. Jean-Michel Moriniere
Jean-Michel has been practicing for the last 16 years in the UAE, he is a registered advocate in France and was previously with International law firm Clyde & Co. He started in private practice 25 years ago as an international trade, insurance, and shipping lawyer. While involved in contentious and non-contentious matters his ability to provide legal strategies and tailer made corporate and commercial solutions are praised by his clients.
His clients range from governments to listed companies and SMEs, he assists his clients in projects, commercial agreements, distribution and representation contracts, corporate arrangements and joint-ventures, offsets, insurance and a broad range of dispute resolution matters.
Through experiences in structuring In-house legal functions for clients or auditing clients’ legal risk management, Jean-Michel has gained over the years an understanding of client’s needs, this enables providing practical and timely solutions. Holding a PhD in law Jean-Michel has been lecturing at several universities including Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, he also served as delegate or expert to various international organizations including UNCITRAL or EU.
